BCCW presents... PYRAMID's PEAK

Introducing the announce team for this evening...

Cue event theme song and let's get right to the action!!!

1) DAN SEVERN (w/ Masahiko Kimura) versus STRANGLER LEWIS (w/ Mitsuyo Maeda)
(BCCW Shoot Fight)

with versus with

This match came about shortly after Severn's crippling defeat of Desmond Wolfe (at "CHANGING of the GUARD"). Strangler Lewis and Ken Shamrock (who is on a "30-day medical suspension" after his fight with Swagger at "FIRST HIT IS 4 FREE") were all over the internet saying they had the key to defeating Kimura's judo. Enter Mitsuyo Maeda - Japanese judôka (judo expert) and prizefighter in no holds barred competitions. He was also known as 'Count Combat' (or Conde Koma in Brazilian Portuguese). Maeda pioneered judo in Brazil, the United Kingdom, and other countries and taught the Gracie family everything they knew. Maeda won more than 2,000 professional fights in his career, and Shamrock and Strangler boasted he had the knowledge and skill to shut Kimura down. On MMA websites everywhere, Maeda is being called the "toughest man who ever lived" and the father of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. Their training was put to the test in this match, in what proved to be a grueling, 5-star mat classic framed within the confines of a 5-round (3 minute round) shoot fight (which can lead to plenty of pro-wrestling-inspired "saved by the bell" drama). Tension steadily mounted between the two camps as the rounds hit 2. In the 3rd, all hell broke loose when Dan Severn choked out the Strangler with a Dragon Sleeper, so Mitsuyo Maeda and camp raised a ruckus and both camps came to blows. Match was officially thrown out, but everybody knows Severn won that fight with a Dragon Sleeper. Strangler Lewis was still out on the mat even as the two camps were eventually separated by security.

Winner: DAN SEVERN (Dragon Sleeper submission, 3rd Round)

KING of the DEATH MATCH tourney

2) JUN KASAI versus ATSUSHI ONITA

versus

Everybody in the audience knows and respects Atsushi Onita - the innovator of this sacred act of mutilation you are about to witness. His is the royal blood that flows from the sewers of Death Match arenas to the Japanese Senate itself. Introducing his distant new-millennium offshoot and bloody bastard kin in destruction - Jun Kasai. The Crazy Monkey jacks off on Onita's legacy, resembling the kind of demented primate you might see ravaging the jungles somewhere.

Winner: JUN KASAI
(No Rope, Barbed Wire, Barricade Electric Land Mine, Double Hell Death match)

3) "SICK" NICK MONDO versus TRENT ACID

BREAKING NEWS!!!

TRENT ACID FOUND DEAD AT AGE 29

BCCW wrestler "Trent Acid" (Michael Verdi) was found dead. Acid created quite a name for himself with stand out independent promotions on the East Coast like Combat Zone Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Unplugged, and most notably, Ring of Honor. He was 29 years old. In BCCW he constantly fought the demons of the Cannibal Cartel, even as he seemed to be permanently tethered to them. Acid was arrested on drug related charges several times in the last few years. In April of this year, Acid was arrested for possession of heroin, public intoxication, and drug paraphernalia. In May after a plea deal, he was sentenced to 23 months of house arrest and mandated to attend rehab. Early speculation is leaning towards Acid's death being related to drugs. This can not be confirm as an investigation is under way. Combat Zone Wrestling which runs the Philadelphia area, has issued a statement on Acid's passing:

Rest in Peace - Mike "Trent Acid" Verdi
11/12/1980 - 6/18/2010

It is with deep regret that CZW management has the unfortunate duty to report on the passing of one of it's own. Early this morning, Michael "Trent Acid" Verdi passed away in his home in South Philadelphia at the age of 29, just blocks away from the building where he helped revolutionize the business he so deeply loved. The entire extended CZW family is in mourning over the loss of one its true homegrown stars, and a man who was a friend to so many, both inside the business and out. We extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to his family and friends as they grieve for his loss.

Trent Acid lived to wrestle. From the time he first stepped thru the curtain at the world famous "ECW Arena", it was clear that he was no ordinary wrestler. This kid from the streets of South Philly was born to entertain, and for more than a decade, he did all that and more. In his storied career, Trent Acid won titles all over the world, but the ones that meant the most to him were those that came in his own neighborhood. In 2002, Trent achieved what many would consider to be the highlight of his career when he defeated Jody Fleisch in front of a capacity crowd at the Arena to become CZW's second ever "Best of the Best" Champion. Trent was also a gifted tag-team wrestler, tagging with longtime friend and partner Johnny Kashmere to form the "Backseat Boyz", together changing the tag-team game as we knew it, while taking their act all over the world in the process. In addition to his contributions in the ring, Trent gave back to the business outside the ring. As a trainer, he helped mold the careers of many of the next generation of professional wrestlers. His advice was priceless, and it was sought by many who wanted to be the very best at their craft. For over a decade, we watched as he grew from the flashy, energetic youngster with the infectious smile, to becoming a certifiable International Superstar. Now, for many years to follow, we will remember him as one of the greatest independent wrestlers of all time, and his memory will never die.

Winner (forfeit by death): "SICK" NICK MONDO

4) MADMAN PONDO versus NECRO BUTCHER

versus

Be forewarned the footage is VERY GRAPHIC, and contains disturbing footage of a real life injury - one that will take Necro Butcher out of BCCW for good!!! NSFW!!!

Winner: MADMAN PONDO

KotDM #4
5) THE MESSIAH versus THUMBTACK JACK

versus

TJ weathers The Messiah's assault and still comes back for more. But in the end, The Grand Wizard (irate at his exclusion from the tournament he helped to build) led his Henchmen to the ring where they brutalized Messiah and enabled Thumbtack Jack to get the win. After TJ scampered away, OMG and the Berzerker absolutely destroyed Messiah center ring while TGW yelled directions. TGW held their arms aloft while Messiah was stretchered out of the arena and BCCW for good.

Winner: THUMBTACK JACK

FARMER BURNS "ELYSIAN FIELDS EMPORIUM"

Introducing the modern day PT Barnum/David Copperfield of wrestling... the Rasputin of complicated realities and mindbending illusions... FARMER BURNS (along with his Igor henchman Bastion Booger). A world champion "Catch-as-Catch can" wrestler, coach and teacher, Farmer Burns not only owns his own chapter in wrestling history - he damn near wrote the whole book (which you can purchase at the concession stands, online and in fine retail outlets everywhere - "Lessons in Wrestling & Physical Culture" - get your copy now). Booger hands out a few leaflets.

http://www.sandowplus.co.uk/Competition/Burns/flyer/flyer.htm

Now Farmer Burns is making the rounds with his traveling fair and carnival act - the most mystifying, outrageous and entertaining spectacle in the entire land. "Farmer Burns Elysian Fields Emporium". He's here tonight in BCCW with his creature cavalcade to prove "The Farmer Burns Workout" is the greatest in the world.

In a tribute to Pepper Gomez and his cast iron stomach, Farmer Burns erects an elaborate set-up from which the massive and rotund Bastion Booger will jump directly onto Farmer Burns stomach. The heights and props (and audience participants - including a long-haired little blond midget who looks slightly familiar to you...) get bigger and higher, until it climaxes with a 12 foot ladder jump from Bastion Booger directly onto Farmer Burns stomach. The crowd gasps for a split second on that last jump, as it was exceptionally stiff and heavy... but Farmer Burns gets up and bows with a flourish, showing no ill effect and allowing the crowd to exhale and cheer. Burns poses with Booger and the midget.

6) BATISTA versus TRIPLE H

versus

Winner: BATISTA

7) DUDLEY BOYZ versus TRUSTBUSTERS

versus

Dudley Boyz retain in their championship rematch against Swagger and Thesz. Too big, too fast, too strong. The Dudley Boyz prove their are the best tag team in the wrestling universe. Decisive victory tonight. Post match, Ken Shamrock and Mitsuyo Maeda make an appearance. Maeda argues with Severn and Thesz, while Shamrock finishes what he started at "FIRST HIT IS 4 FREE" by locking Jack Swagger in the ankle lock!

Winners (and STILL BCCW tag team champions): DUDLEY BOYZ
(BCCW Tag Team championship)

Main Event
JOHN CENA versus GINO HERNANDEZ (w/ special referee Jake "the Snake" Roberts)
(BCCW Championship match)

versus with special referee

In another shocking revelation, John Cena was jumped by Roberts and Pogo the Clown at an autograph signing and the proceedings were hijacked by none other than GINO HERNANDEZ (!!!) who cut a promo declaring himself one of the money men behind the Triple C's invasion and rightful heir to the #1 contendership. Jake "the Snake" Roberts revealed he had structured a contractual contingency plan with the old BCCW owners that automatically granted him the rights to name a #1 contender. He has paved the way for Gino Hernandez to cash in on his secret investment - and to ensure the match is officiated cleanly, Jake Roberts will be donning the referee's uniform himself. Also the title CAN change hands on a DQ or a countout, so Cena better watch himself and fight fair. Match is an absolute donnybrook, with major million-dollar entrances. Gino Hernandez is a timeless version of Alberto Del Rio mixed with a little Scarface/Razor Ramon.

Cena fights against the odds from the beginning, overcoming various nefarious tricks and schemes by Hernandez. Cena has a showdown or two with Roberts as well, who flexes his position of authority. At one point, Jake "the Snake" Roberts is conveniently distracted reattaching a turnbuckle pad that Gino Hernandez removed, to notice the massive Pogo the Clown make his way down to ringside to attack John Cena.

But he sure notices the gigantic Haystacks Calhoun who emerges from the lockerroom to a huge pop and brawls with Pogo the Clown all the way through the audience and backstage!!!

Meanwhile the drama continues in-ring, with more shenanigans involving foreign objects. John Cena avoids a number of near falls, that even have Hernandez and Roberts arguing with urgency. Roberts even has to look the other way to avoid seeing Hernandez frantically tapping out to Cena's STFU. This draws Cena's ire, as he backs up Jake Roberts showing no fear in the face of the referee stripes. This allows Hernandez to clobber Cena from behind and the match continues.

Finally, The Grand Wizard makes an appearance with his Henchmen OMG and Berzerker who beat down Cena and set him up for a top rope knee drop from Hernandez... when "Real American" cuts through the speakers and draws everybodys attention to the aisle. But HULK HOGAN comes through the audience to even the odds!

Berzerker gets tossed over the top rope! Body slam to OMG! Gorilla press slam to the diminutive TGW, right out of the ring onto Berzerker and OMG! Big boot to Hernandez! YOUUUUUUUU!!!! to Jake "the Snake" Roberts, backing up and begging off! He backs right up into a thunderous Attitude Adjustment from John Cena! Jake "the Snake" Roberts is down and out! 5-knuckle shuffle to Gino Hernandez and Hulk Hogan uses Jake "the Snake" Roberts' unconscious hand to count the pinfall! John Cena wins! But does he???

Winner (and STILL BCCW champion): JOHN CENA
But Jake "the Snake" Roberts is quick to file a complaint with the BCCW board of directors, who will put major pressure on majority owner John Cena to make a decision. Roberts claims the assault on him by Cena violates the conditions of the match and would result in an automatic DQ - therefore the belt would change hands. So Gino Hernandez should be the rightful BCCW champion. Controversy!!! How will Cena resolve this situation and still honor his ethos of Hustle, Loyalty and Respect??? Tune in next time as the saga of Broken City Championship Wrestling continues!!!
