You know the deal. Does this one even need an explanation? Granted things have changed somewhat in the industry these days (just ask my boys Trent Acid and Lance Cade) but not much. In the grand scheme of life we are defined by three major objectives - CURRENCY (aka "money"), SEX and DRUGS. All of them are a high of some kind. We live for it, we crave it. We can't deny it's powerful allure. Why are so many wrestlers called "lifers"? Why does Roddy Piper describe "the sickness" like it's some kind of external narcotic that once in your veins, traps you for life? Because we're all striving for that ultimate high, whether it be caffeine, adrenaline, kinky fetishes or just straight up getting wasted. Wrestling is drug-related because drugs are the lifeblood pumping through the central heart of the industry. Whether it's the Straight Edge "high" of competing in the ring in front of thousands (or dozens, depending on your level) or it's the somas, Coronas (with lime) and zoners. Either way, we ain't fighting for what's right - we're still fighting for what's left. So spark that blizz and peep the next chapter in BCCW.
