Final Hype Show before "Changing of the Guard"

An unbelievable chain of events has preceded the latest BCCW ppv offering "CHANGING of the GUARD". First, the streets of Broken City were realigned when the wily Jake "the Snake" Roberts merged the Cannibal Cartel with remnants of the Straight Edge Society (BCCW Chapter). Then, the sordid business affairs of Mister Mondt and the Gold Dust Trio Inc came to light (but who is the snitch that rolled on them? Sammartino? Pedro Morales? Buddy Rogers? Someone else???). Now, the so-called "self defense" death of Bruiser Brody after the last BCCW Hype Show. All of this is leading to a "CHANGING of the GUARD".

The cold-blooded murder has chilled many BCCW superstars, but not chief amongst them is the hardcore savior THE MESSIAH. No stranger to drama, attempted homicide and tragedy himself (he lost his mother, brother and sister within a year) the Messiah was one of the few to publically speak out against The Grand Wizard, his Monstah Squad and their demented backroom politics. He claims TGW and others are conspiring to rig an upcoming tournament for the vacant King of the Death Match title. In response, THE MESSIAH was given an ultimatum - fight in an unsanctioned KotDM qualifying match or forsake his entry into the tourney. The Messiah had no choice but to accept, and found out another bounty had been placed upon his head.

"CZW" = BCCW

Celtic Warrior SHEAMUS - last man to beat Bruiser Brody in BCCW - has also stepped up to further lay down the guantlet to The Grand Wizard and his camp. Please note, Bruiser Brody never let anybody pin him - further evidence of the genetic evolution of the warriors that populate the wrestling game these days. Sheamus defeated Brody at "GANG RULZ" in the toughest match of the Irishman's career. Now at "CHANGING of the GUARD", the quest continues. Sheamus will clash with chief TGW henchman and goon ABDULLAH the BUTCHER. And in a sick, twisted tribute to prison culture TGW has requested their fight at "CHANGING of the GUARD" take place under chain match rules. Sheamus and Abdullah the Butcher will be tethered together by a lenght of chain, and forced to do battle like two caged dogs. Last one breathing wins the match.

WHO IS THE WORLD's BADDEST FIGHTER??

DAN SEVERN: A lot of people did not like that match. I think it was even chronicled in different books as one of the worst matches in UFC history. At that time for being the marquee match it did not produce. But in my own personal opinion, it was the most well thought out, psychological match ever in UFC. To know that it had a 10,000 seat set out. I think one of the biggest at the time. And I'm wagering the crowd not liking this match, and they start booing. They start doing everything I hoped they would do. Because Shamrock at that point in time was a counter fighter. As you attack and he counter attacks you. And I thought if I do the exact same thing and circle and basically do what he is doing, nothing. The crowd is going to get rather restless, and they would start to boo and they end up booing and even throw garbage in the cage. The referee stops the match, pushed us back to restart. He is even cussin' at us, saying if you came to fight blankity blank, then fight by god. He pushed me back. I said to him, John just take your shirt off and we will make it a three way death match, I could care less. I will never let the crowd rule me. There is a lot of armchair quarterbacks.That like to sit there and bark stuff like that. Climb inside the cage with me. Look across from me right there and when he says "Lets get it on" they close that door and I move towards him, I know I will see a puddle at his feet. The only thing is I kinda went on a tangent right there. I take a great deal of pride in what I've done and what I've accomplished. As far as im concerned there is not another human being alive and or dead who has accomplished what I have accomplished in the professional wrestling, mixed martial arts/no holds barred or amateur wrestling circuits. In all three areas I have been very successful and the fact is I'm lifetime chemical free. I started it at a very date in life. WWF oldest rookie ever at forty years of age. Basically started a cage fighting career at 36 getting ready to turn 37. Who starts a career at that age? The world record was seven title belts. I have ever 18 or 19 right now. If you can find something else that can have any claim. Ive done as many as seventeen amateur wrestling matches in one day. Two different age groups, three weight classes per age group. Winning six gold medals, seventeen matches. Find me anybody else who can come close to what I have done. I legitimately have over a hundred state and national championships or records. No one else has done what I have done, ever.

The rise and potential fall of the Diamond Dynasty has been well-chronicled in BCCW history. The same night "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers defeated immortal foes Lou Thesz and Bruno Sammartino to earn a title shot and chance to become majority owner of BCCW itself - Dynasty cohorts Dolph Ziggler and Wade Barrett were at each others throats for the last time. It's clear that the two egos cannot co-exist, and it cost Diamond Princess MARYSE her shot at the WWW championship and her dignity (see "LEGENDS of WRESTLING: Down & Dirty" for further results). Not even the great BOBBY "the BRAIN" HEENAN can quell their disagreement, and so he has been called upon to play peacemaker in his role as a special referee. At "CHANGING of the GUARD", the Diamond Dynasty will settle their differences like anybody in this business does - in the ring. WADE BARRETT has agreed to put up the Million $$$ championship belt as collateral. WADE BARRETT versus DOLPH ZIGGLER, with Bobby "the Brain" Heenan as special referee. Will he call the match down the middle? Or does the Dynasty favor one man over the other? Also, in the main event at "CHANGING of the GUARD", "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers has earned (blackmailed? extorted?) his way into the Triple Threat title match. He will be competing against current BCCW champion John Cena and Gold Dust Trio Inc founder Mister Joseph "Toots" Mondt for not only the title belt, but majority ownership of Broken City Championship Wrestling itself. No one singuler match could be more imporant, or have more future repurcussions on BCCW than this one. At "CHANGING of the GUARD", visions will be realized - or destroyed forever.

Outraged over his loss at "L.O.W: Down & Dirty", CODY RHODES has been on a promotional tear. With his backers GDT Inc being rendered powerless during their inquisition, Cody Rhodes has stepped up to make sure his face hasn't been forgotten. The man with the best theme song in the business today has taken to the airwaves to challenge MIL MASCARAS to a rematch at "CHANGING of the GUARD". But not just any match - Cody Rhodes has challenged the Mexican superstar to a "Mask Match". If Cody Rhodes wins, he claims ownership over the most famous mask in Luchadore history. But if Mil Mascaras wins... Cody Rhodes will be obligated to wear a mask over his dashing face for the rest of his career! A massive gamble on behalf of the young 2nd generation superstar! Or is it a testement to Cody Rhodes faith in his ability? We'll find out at "CHANGING of the GUARD", because Mil Mascaras has accepted the challenge!
